I drove through someone's oil on the LH side of the lane and got WAY sideways. Woulda' been a really good pass...1.21 50', 5.28 660' at 130.XX...oh well...at least I didn't hit anything, right?

Really nice pass at Los Angeles County Raceway at the Hangover Nationals. Track is at 2800+ foot elevation.
The motor is a 2.8L Ford/Esslinger 4-banger with a C-4 automatic. The car is all steel and glass (2650#), with all power accessories and lights intact and functioning...including the 6-disc CD changer.

This is Steve Magnante's "Match Bash" Chevy II/Nova that was featured in several issues of Hot Rod magazine.
It has a 502/502 crate motor with old-school injections stacks...with Electromotive EFI. Steve drives this beast to work in downtown LA on a regular basis. It runs like a late-model car and runs low 7's in the 1/8th. :I actually got to work on it...I did the wiring, EFI harness and tuning. It's one of the coolest cars I've ever worked on.
Video was shot by Mike Morgan at Irwindale Dragway.
